Maps & Lists for 2007/08 season

  • Note that this has changed as a result of the following:
    a) the announcement of Durham City on 17 May that they will not be moving up from step 5 leaving a vacancy in NP1N
    b) the announcement on 18 May that Hayes & Yeading are to merge leaving a vacancy in Conference South.
    c) New Milton Town have taken voluntary relegation to step 5.
    d) Boston United relegated to Conference North with Altrincham reprieved.
    e) Scarborough ceased trading on 20 June.
    f) Enfield have folded
    g) Slimbridge have withdrawn from Step 4
  • a) will be resolved by replacing Durham City with Garforth Town (4th place NCEP) - confirmed by NPL on 30th May.
    b)  Weston Super Mare will be reprieved from FCS, Cirencester Town will be reprieved at step 3, and Corinthian-Casuals will be reprieved at step 4. Confirmed at FC AGM on 9th June. As a result of this, Berkhamsted Town will transfer back from IL1N to SL1M and Dartford will move from IL1S to IL1N.
    c) Godalming Town are reprieved at step 4.
    d) announced at the FC AGM on 9th June.
    e) One reformed Scarborough club will play in NCE1 (two have applied) and the NPP will operate with 21 clubs.
    f) Ilford are reprieved and Enfield will reform in ESL.
    g) SL1M will run with 21 teams

  • Moor Green and Solihull Borough merge and take a place in Conference North as Solihull Moors.

  • Lancaster City (FCN) relegated from step 2 to step 4. The worst 19th placed step 3 club (Harrow Borough) reprieved.

  • Farnborough (FCS) relegated from step 2 to step 4. Hayes (FCS) reprieved at step 2 and Corby Town (SLP) reprieved at step 3.

  • The bottom 2 clubs in NP1 reprieved to assist in increasing step 4 numbers in the north.

  • There will be 124 clubs in step 4 - 36 clubs in total in the two Northern division and 22 in each of the other four divisions.

  • The teams moving up from step 5 have have been chosen from the list of applicants on the following basis.

    • The top 2 or 3 clubs that have applied (regardless of league position) from NCE, NWC, MFA &  NL (11 clubs)

      • Newcastle Blue Star (NL)

      • FC United, Curzon Ashton & Nantwich (NWC)

      • Sheffield, Retford United, Carlton Town & Garforth Town  (NCE)

      • Leamington, Romulus & Quorn (MFA)

    • The top club from the other step 5 leagues (7 clubs)

      • Brentwood Town (ESL), Chipstead (CCL), Edgware Town (SSML), Whitstable Town (KL), Gosport Borough (WxL), Slimbridge (HL) & Eastbourne Town (SxL)

    • The 2nd placed clubs from the step 5 leagues not providing a 1st placed club (1 club)

      •  Bridgwater Town (WL)

  • This provides 21 eligible teams in the above scenario and 23 are required (as Solihull & Moor Green merge), so 2 teams from step 4 are reprieved from relegation. These are Berkhamsted Town (SL1M) & Stourport Swifts (SL1M).
